THE PROCESS
Gather
Pieces of wood from an out building in Northern California, a dilapidated barn in Columbia County or driftwood on the Oregon Coast. To reclaim material from your surroundings creates a story in every Drêvo piece. If you know of any old wood that needs a home, let me know.
Design
The influence and character of every participant is the conduit for the creation. Each Drêvo piece is custom tailored to each client after a suggested visitation and meeting. This in turns, help weave the idea behind each design
Produce
The frame, the body and hardware. Each hand cut, hand painted and handmade.
Display
All Drêvo pieces come stamped, signed, titled and ready to hang.
About

Oldest of six siblings and raised in Oregon, I have always had an interest and been active in some form of the arts. In the past, I have experimented with ceramics, metal, acrylics and music. Wood became a new passion after I remodeled my old home and found myself with a garage full of tools. After quitting a musical endeavor, I had the urge to create again and happened to come across some artists that were creating something similar. Even after a long week at my full time job, I love to head to my small woodshop and turn the saws on.
